Collaborate with Business Unit master scheduler/planner to creating Trimble’s monthly Build Plan (Forecast). Trimble Planner Portable Periodic Metrics
At all times maintain contact with EMS Program Management to insure the on time delivery and continuous supply of Trimble products. Maintain the timely flow of Warranty return (rejected) and Service Repair (Customer returns) maintain visibility of material aging and turnaround time in the form of reportable periodic metrics. Work closely with other centralized Supply Chain teams regarding Material/ supply chain issues to successfully meet Trimble revenue requirements
Work with Trimble Business Unit Master Scheduler/Planners to support the Monthly Build Plan (and mid-cycle Exception) business process with Trimble’s EMS’, collaborate to reset the rolling 21 month Forecast data for Products manufactured and shipped to Trimble. Ability to travel domestic and internationally Experience with early production involvement, and NPI release to production Previous experience and a solid understanding of SMT and Back End, FG level manufacturing in Contract Manufacturing a plus. Advanced Excel skills, MRP/ERP usage/knowledge, project management, knowledge of Procurement and Materials Management processes and techniques. Technical degrees, Business Degrees with emphasis in Supply Chain Management/Operations or Finance are a plus, but not required.
Engage with appropriate EMS partner and supported Trimble Business Unit personnel to drive and insure expedient closure of the issues. Ensure timely notification of factors preventing the continuous OTD of products technical or material in nature. Lead/manage CM + internal BUs on required weekly meetings to meet deliverable outputs for submitted Forecasted revenue plans. Full understanding of CM Partner’s capacity capabilities to meet Trimble’s ongoing forecast loads Collaborate with EMS partner personnel to insure continuous On Time Delivery (OTD) of Supply against Demand. Achieve all Supply deliverables while minimizing OCOGS (expedite fees, airfreight).
Process Subcontract Work Orders and other associated Oracle transactions for the processing of non-Warranty repairs and material upgrades, as required. Monitor the processing time and eventual return of repaired assemblies. Request RMA numbers from EMS partner and effect material movements. Monitor and report on purchased assembly aging in all Oracle MRB and Customer Return (RMA) stocking locations post disposition and requiring return to EMS partner. Manage the Returned Material Process with Trimble’s EMS partner. Work closely with other centralized supporting Supply Chain teams regarding Material/ supply chain issues to successfully meet Trimble revenue requirements.
